After breakfast we set course for North Bengal’s Bogra. Today you will visit local markets and make a few more stops at some weaving villages. Then we visit the oldest citadel of Bangladesh (Mahasthan Garh) that dates from the 3rd century B.C. It was the Capital for many ancient dynasties. Drive to your hotel and check in.

After an early breakfast head towards Paharpur to visit Shompura Maha Vihara “Paharpur” (UNESCO World Heritage Site) built during the 7th century Pala dynasty. Drive back to Bogra, making some stops in local villages. Also you will visit Vasu Vihara. Then relax for the night at Bogra.

Today you will head for Tangail, the weaving village but before that pay a visit to the glorious Temple City of Puthia. Here, you will discover the authentic craftsmanship of the temples of Gobinda, Shiva, Pancharatna and Jagaddhatri. After lunch in a highway restaurant, we arrive at Tangail’s weaving village and see their traditional handloom Sari weaving methods. Then spend the night at a guest house in the village.

After breakfast spend half a day with the weavers and farmers and take lunch with them. Then head out to the village in Mymensingh to see the Garo (tribes). Upon arrival enjoy their hospitality with some cultural dance and enjoy the night with them in their house. Be a Garo for a day.

In the morning, being a guest of the Garo community, you may help them with their daily activities. After lunch drive to your hotel in Dhaka.

Early in the morning after breakfast, start for Holy city of Sylhet. When we arrive there it is time to take refreshment and lunch in your hotel. Then we head for Jaflong, not forgetting to see the Border at Tamabil between Bangladesh and India. Later on, visit the Stone Collectors and watch their river-bed activities. We will also visit some Khashia tribal villages. After that, it is time to return to the hotel and relax.

After an early morning breakfast, start on the drive to Srimangal (the Tea Capital of Bengal). This area consists of 150 tea estates including three indigenous communities. It also comprises the one and only rain forest in Bangladesh ‘Lawachara’. We will visit the villages of Khashia inside the forest. Later we are to be guests of the Tripura and Monipuri tribes to enjoy a cup of seven-layer tea sitting ‘on the lap of nature’.

Early this morning start for Comilla to see the 7th century ruins of a Buddhist Monastery at Shalban Vihara, Rupban Mura Ita khola mura. You can pay your respects to the Martyrs and visit the Second World War Cemetery . Later drive to your hotel.

After breakfast set your course for Dhaka, visiting Sonargaon on the way; in the 13th century B.C. this was the old capital of Bengal. Here you will see the folk museum and ruins of the Panam city, that once used to be a glorious trading point of the region. Arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon.

After breakfast transfer to airport where we say good bye and wish you a safe flight back home.
